The WINning Prince
I’ve just been to see Prince in concert at the o2 Dome, thanks to the people at leading UK mobile aggregator, WIN. They put on an interactive session for branding and marketing agencies to learn more about the power and flexibility of the mobile medium together with mobile communities. After that, they whisked everyone off by river boat to the dome. Within moments we were all sat in some prime seats in the WIN box watching the little man himself strut his stuff.
I met quite a few interesting people, not least, of course, a few chaps from everyone’s favourite mobile operator, o2. Notice, that I am referring to them by their real name, rather then my standard affectionate nickname — I think that’s only polite. I didn’t ask anyone of them about mobile data charges. I think I’m best keeping my cool and avoiding exploding, especially since they were such affable gents.
Anyway, lots of gossip to report. I’ll dig out my business cards, photos and memories shortly.
